Meet Our Team

Jon Stoe

Jon currently serves as Interim Pastor in Litchfield and as Assistant District Superintendent for the Prairie Lakes District of the Church of the Nazarene. With more than 35 years in ministry, he has served as a youth pastor, senior pastor, church planter, and evangelist/retreat speaker.

Today, Jon and his wife, Tedi, continue to follow God’s call in a unique season of life. With their four sons now adults, they sold their home and now travel, serving the church wherever God leads. Tedi works full-time from the road, and together they cherish frequent FaceTime calls and in-person visits with their three grandchildren. They enjoy biking, hiking, and discovering new adventures as they live the RV lifestyle.

Jon’s strengths and gifts include preaching, connecting with people, discernment, compassion, and encouragement. Having experienced both the highs and lows of ministry, he understands the emotional dynamics and uncertainties of life. He is passionate about reaching the lost and walking alongside pastors and churches—bringing biblical truth, encouragement, and hope.

Jon’s life mission is simple and compelling: to be living proof of a loving God.

Michael & Sarah Lowenberg

Missionaries Michael and Sarah Lowenberg: A woman with blonde hair wearing a black top and a colorful skirt standing beside a man with a bald head and beard in a black suit, both smiling against a black background.

Michael and Sarah Lowenberg faithfully served as co-pastors from June 2023 until January 2026, bringing a vibrant blend of passion, dedication, and spiritual depth to our congregation. During their time with us, this dynamic duo nurtured meaningful relationships, mentored individuals in their faith journeys, and led with complementary strengths.

In January 2026, Michael and Sarah answered God's call to the mission field, transitioning to serve as sponsored missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene at Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya. Michael now serves as a Professor in the School of Religion and Christian Ministry, teaching and mentoring future pastors, while Sarah serves as Associate Chaplain, providing spiritual care and support to students across the campus. Their ministry, aptly named The Flame & The Field, symbolizes the Holy Spirit (the flame) igniting and equipping the next generation of leaders (the field) for God's Kingdom work throughout East Africa.

Though we miss their presence here, we celebrate their continued obedience to God's global call, humbled and grateful that our church family was privileged to send them as missionaries. We invite our congregation to follow their journey, pray for their family, and support their work through their ministry website at https://theflameandthefield.org. We give thanks for the lasting impact they made in our spiritual family and rejoice in how God is using them to fuel the Gospel in Kenya!
