Celebrating 100 Years
On May 2, 1926, twenty-one people gathered after a revival in Litchfield and organized a new church. One hundred years later, we're still here, still on Ramsey Avenue, and still gathering every Sunday. Come celebrate with us.
The Weekend
Saturday, July 11 | Fellowship Time
4 PM | Centennial Celebration Picnic
Free picnic meal in the church parking lot. Smoked pulled pork sandwiches, pork carnitas tacos, and all the sides. Come hungry, stay for the stories.
6 PM | Watercade Parade Watch Party
Already coming to town for the parade? Come an hour or two early, eat with us, and watch from our section of Sibley Avenue.
Sunday, July 12 | Centennial Celebration
9 AM | Welcome Reception
Coffee, muffins, and time to reconnect. Look through old photos, find familiar faces, and catch up before the service.
10 AM | Centennial Worship Service
A once-in-a-century service. Heritage hymns, the Men's Quartet, worship in English and Spanish, and a centennial message from Rev. Dr. Steve Hoffman, our district superintendent. We'll give thanks for 100 years and pray over the next 100.
Who This Is For
You. If you grew up in this church, got married here, rode the old bus, sat through a piano recital, or have only ever driven past the sign on Sibley Ave, you're invited. Everything is free. Come for an hour or come for the whole weekend.
A Church That Learned to Send
What started with 21 charter members has spent a century growing and giving away what it grew. This congregation has sent out pastors and missionaries, helped start new churches, and today worships in two languages as one family. There will be much more of this story in the commemorative program on celebration weekend.
